Aberdeen City Heritage Trust may be able to offer assistance towards the cost of repairing the external shell of historic buildings that fall within a designated conservation area within Aberdeen City.
There are two main types of grant that may be available. Comprehensive Grants are larger grants and will involve a range of external repair that contribute to an unused or substantially underused building being brought back into use. Small Grants allow individual items or a small number of items of external repair work to be carried out.
Further details of grants and how to apply are contained in the leaflet Historic Building Repair Grants. To find out whether your property and project may be eligible for assistance you can download and submit the Preapplication Enquiry form.
Please note that Trust grant funding is very limited. No guarantee of funding being available can be made. Applications are developed and submitted at the applicant's risk that an application may or may not be approved.
PLEASE NOTE THAT GRANT FUNDS FOR THE PERIOD UP UNTIL 31 MARCH 2012 ARE FULLY COMMITTED. COMPLETE A PREAPPLICATION ENQUIRY FORM TO REGISTER AN INTEREST IN FUTURE FUNDS THAT MAY BECOME AVAILABLE.
