of Gardens and Designed Landscapes of Special Interest |
Historic Scotland, jointly with Scottish Natural Heritage has an inventory of gardens and designed landscapes of special interest, which is currently being extended. Designed gardens and landscapes are an integral part of the character of many of our towns and cities. The spaces between buildings and the way in which they are defined and designed make a major contribution to the character of Aberdeen. In time it is likely that some of Aberdeen’s fine Victorian parks will be added to the Inventory.
