During 2005 Aberdeen City Heritage Trust commissioned The Robert Gordon University to carry out a photographic survey of the fronts of all properties within Aberdeen’s 5 outstanding Conservation Areas.

The purpose of the study was to create a record of our historic city now and a resource that could be used to chart how these important historic areas change in the future. The survey will help ensure that the best attributes of each area and building are recognised and protected.

Architectural drawings have also been produced for several city streets including Bridge Street, Guild Street, King Street and Regent Quay. These drawings emphasis the high quality of architecture in the city centre.
