We are seeking an ambitious and committed professional to take on the role of Senior Project Officer for Aberdeen City Heritage Trust. With a passion for heritage, you will be tasked with developing and delivering on our five-year strategy for growth, working in support of the care and maintenance of Aberdeen’s historic built environment. The successful candidate will work widely with stakeholders, community groups, heritage and construction professionals and liaise with Aberdeen City Council Conservation team. Aberdeen City Heritage Trust provides building repair grants and community heritage grants to assist in the conservation, enhancement and promotion of the historic fabric of the City of Aberdeen. The Senior Project Officer will carry out management of the Trust processes and monitor grant applications, overseeing its grants scheme and other projects and promoting the aims of the Trust and the historic built environment of Aberdeen. This will include promoting and monitoring projects and delivering on the reporting requirements, including risk management, to a board of trustees. The role has line management responsibility for two ACHT employees.

A member of, or working towards membership of, the Institute of Historic Building Conservation (IHBC) would be desirable.
