Countdown to Doors Open Day 2025

Which building are you visiting as part of Aberdeen’s architectural celebration on 6 &7 September

It’s one month from the first weekend of September, when the doors of 50 properties will be thrown open to members of the public in the annual celebration of Aberdeen’s architecture.

Spend some time playing croquet, visit the hyperbaric chamber or a host of schools, public buildings and places of worship. Doors Open Day makes for a great day out, giving a chance to glimpse behind the scenes at buildings you might not normally visit. Find out more about organisations and communities that contribute to the life of the City.

Trust Project Officer, Douglas Campbell said:

Aberdeen City Heritage Trust is delighted to support Doors Open Day again in 2025. The event is a fantastic opportunity to celebrate our beautiful city and its rich architectural heritage.
